TURNBULL’S DECEPTION ON JOHN ALEXANDER

In his press conference yesterday Malcolm Turnbull demonstrated why he can’t be trusted by the Australian people.

 

It’s now been revealed Mr Turnbull was made fully aware of serious doubts about John Alexander’s eligibility to be an MP hours before he looked the Australian people in the eye and promised them every Liberal was in the clear.

 

It is clear this is another desperate cover-up to try to cling to office into the new year.

 

Turnbull didn’t tell the truth about the strength of the legal advice in Barnaby Joyce’s case, his Ministers conspired to cover-up Stephen Parry’s dual citizenship and now the Prime Minister of Australia stands before the Australian people and makes sweeping claims he knows are untrue.

 

It is now clear Australians simply cannot trust Turnbull or his Government to tell the truth and do the honest thing anymore.

 

Mr Turnbull now has no choice other than to refer John Alexander to the High Court.
